Revit Mep – Outside

Salary: £48 – £50.4 per hour

As part of a successful and growing MEP department, you’ll provide direct support to the Senior Technicians whilst joining a team that’s been delivering industry leading design solutions for decades. Your organisational and communication skills will help you interact with internal and external contacts to deliver projects within time, quality and budget constraints. You’ll also work closely with the Engineers, playing an integral role in the driving of quality standards and the development of the team as a whole

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

* Liaise with other team members in a multi-disciplinary environment to achieve holistic building solutions to the customer brief

* Assist in the training and development of other members of the CAD team

* Contribute to the development of the CAD team as required by the CAD manager

* Ensure a safe working environment and that all equipment is fit for purpose reporting any failures to operational management team

* Promote a culture of Perfect delivery within team

* Promote and achieve continuous improvement throughout the team

* Promote and achieve excellent service delivery in order to delight our customers

* Ensure quality of delivery when producing or updating CAD drawings to the CAD standards

* Ensure thorough checking and accuracy of deliverables and record documentation

* Produce schematic, general arrangement and detailed drawings in accordance with the relevant standards and procedures

* Maintain drawing records and ensuring accurate document control

Skills and experience

* A comprehensive, current knowledge of AutoDesk Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD software

* A thorough understanding of electrical building and infrastructure services ensuring designs can be safely installed and maintained through the coordination of Revit MEP models.

* Proven and demonstrable track record of exceptional project delivery and client satisfaction.

* Experience of major projects within a variety of business sectors (typically Commercial, Industrial / Process, Manufacturing, Power Generation, Aviation, Education, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical)
