Purpose of Job:

Revit Technician to work within the existing Building Services team based in our clients Leeds office to work on MEP coordination projects, using Revit MEP.
You will be producing and interpreting plans and drawings to help deliver projects and services to our diverse clients whilst following internal procedures and maintaining high standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Using Revit MEP to create complex 3D building systems and geometries for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, IT, containment and fire protection systems.

Working from Engineer’s mark ups and sketches under minimum supervision to produce MEP drawings in Revit MEP.
Multi-disciplinary spatial coordination responsibility for all building services, taking into account coordination with structural, architectural, and civil components.

Using Navisworks to coordinate BIM model and demonstrate conflicts to be resolved.

Following BIM project processes and ensure outputs meet the required standards and agreed deadlines.

Complying with our Quality Management System in production and checking of drawings

Capabilities and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years commercial experience in 3D Revit MEP Software.

The ideal candidates must:

Have undergone formal Revit Training
Have working knowledge of IT software and hardware commensurate with Revit MEP package and future updates
Have experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Be competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages
Be a good team player
Have good communication skills.
