Retail / Interior Designer

Our client is a leading and expanding insight and retail design agency, operating globally and working with some of the world’s most exciting brands.
Their approach is different, because they really understand the way in which human beings interact with their world and what alters their decisions and behaviours before they generate inspired solutions, that not only look great but change the way in which humans behave in Retail.

As a Senior Weight Retail/Interior designer you will be based in the UK office in the East Midlands and need a commanding understanding of the total design process and be inspired by the world of creativity, architecture, industrial design and art that surrounds us all.
You will have an inner passion for innovation and experience of working in a creative agency or architectural office, designing interiors, stores, hotels, bars or even offices.
Specifically you must have the following skills:

• Minimum of 3 years experience of the Conceptual Design process
• Highly proficient in 3D Studio Max AND or Sketch-up
• Ability to use AutoCAD is an advantage
• Commanding understanding of Adobe packages, including Illustrator and Photoshop
• Solid Microsoft Office skills
• A team player
• Be highly efficient and able to work with very tight deadlines
• Nimble thinker and able to switch between different projects on a daily basis
• Support, nurture and train our junior designers
• Be prepared to travel internationally, if necessary
• Good communication skills and a sense of humour
