Job Title: Graphic Designer
Location: Poole, Dorset
Salary: circa £30,000DOE
Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm
Job purpose:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Graphic Designer to progress their career in a successful and rapidly expanding company. There will be plenty of opportunities to show off your creativity!
Duties and responsibilities:
* You will be responsible for executing a range of design briefs
* Think creatively to solve problems and produce new ideas and concepts
* Present finalised ideas and concepts to the design team
* Ensure all design work meets brand guidelines
Skills and experience:
* Exemplary planning and organisation skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure, despite tight deadlines
* Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, In-design & Illustrator)
* Great attention to detail with a meticulous approach to your work
* Most importantly you must be highly creative with a great attitude and passion for design and illustration, and have an understanding of what designs work for print
Candidate Specification:
* The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of three years’ experience and proven track record in either a design agency or similar in-house design team.
* You will have creative flair and great design skills, be able to demonstrate the ability to consistently produce creative concepts to satisfy design, whilst effectively managing multiple projects. In addition, you will be able to work well under pressure, possess excellent presentation and communication skills and be able to manage projects from initial brief through to final artwork.
* It is essential that you are proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator. Skills in photography would be an advantage.
