Residential Support Worker

Salary: £13.39 per hour

Seven Social Care is looking for a qualified Residential Support Worker to fill an exclusive opportunity specialising in the wellbeing of children across Sheffield.

The role:

To support the day-to-day operation of the home and to ensure that the home meets the standards and regulations required. To work with all other staff within the residential home to contribute to the implementation of relevant legislation, regulations and guidance for the home and actively participate in all inspection processes. To actively participate in regular supervision and staff meetings in line with the Children’s Homes Regulations including individual performance reviews. To ensure the timely and accurate record keeping and reporting as required both internally and externally. To work with the Senior staff to adopt a culture of continuous improvement including, developing child centred services and continuous professional development.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: NVQ 3 in childcare or equivalent
Experience: 2+ years working with children in a residential setting
Compliance: Up to date HCPC registration and DBS.
Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
Hours: 37 hours p/w.
