Residential Care Worker

My client, based in Ashford, is looking to recruit experienced Residential Care Workers for their residential and education service for vulnerable children.

You will provide support to Children that have suffered cruelty and neglect through residential care, education, therapy and fostering.

As a Residential Care Worker, your role will include:
* Supporting the learning, emotional and social needs of Children and Young People within a class group setting or residential home.
* Participating in recording, monitoring and evaluating individual child strategies/support.
* Assisting the management to develop the school/house and it’s environment ensuring that the highest standard of care prevails
* Participate in sleeping in duties as required
* Ensure a safe and positive environment

This is a permanent full time role and the salary is £26,000.

You must hold your NVQ Level 3 – Caring for Children and Young People to be considered for the role.
