Salary: £72,000 – £78,000 per year

An experienced Technical Manager with extensive experience in residential developments is required to join one of the UK’s leading Housebuilders on a major long-term project in North West London.
The scheme comprises of 10 high rise blocks, a school and commercial units and as the Technical Manager you will be working immediately on the build of the first two blocks.
This multi-award-winning company have a strong reputation in the market and drive a focus on communities, they have invested millions into local infrastructure and look to reconnect places that have been closed to the public.
They specialise in delivering multiple high profile residential / mixed-use scheme in and around London.
They now have an immediate requirement for a Technical Manager who can hit the floor running in a high pressured environment, to join a growing specialist team of well experienced residential building professionals.
As a Technical Manager, you will be reporting to the Technical Director.
Roles / Responsibilities
* To be conversant with project design responsibilities matrix and appointments relating to services they are responsible for
* Communicate with the design team regularly promoting effective communication between all design team members
* Keep Technical Director constantly appraised on all current project development
* Input into new land opportunities
* Tender, take instruction and manage site surveys and production of written reports use on their projects against the project delivery programme
* Resolve all day-to-day problems as they arise by preparing solutions thereto and, where appropriate, liaising with the Technical Director for approval
Key Skills & Abilities
* Strong knowledge and experience in leading high rise, residential or mixed-use projects
* Experience working for a Developer or Main Contractor
* Able to communicate at all levels with consultants, site staff, subcontractors and client disciplines
* Proven track record of delivering large scale projects
* Been involved in a project from inception to completion
* Ability to interpret chart programmes
* Preferably Educated to degree level or equivalent
