Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year
Regional Sales Manager
Leeds (National Travel)
£35k-40k depending on experience + bonus, car and benefits
Working for a leading home interiors distributor operating 3 main brands across the UK, this is a great opportunity for a proven Sales Leader with experience of working in the home furnishings market, selling to wholesale clients.
Main duties will include:
– Daily management of a team of field-based sales reps
– Implement sales goals based on market trends
– Performance management, motivating and coaching
– Direct account responsibility for 10 national accounts
– Budgeting, forecasting and P&L control
– Liaise with product development to present feedback from the market regarding product and bespoke product for appropriate customers
– Liaise with Marketing on Marketing Plan and suggest adjustments according to area and customer feedback
– Data analysis for promotions, overstocked product, shows & open weeks, price lists and product sales
– Report findings, goals and strategies to the board and Sales Director.
Experience required:
– Experience of managing a sales team
– Working knowledge of the retail market (ideally within home furnishings)
– Sales and Account Management
– Ability to lead by example, coach and mentor
– Proactive and able to anticipate and resolve issues
– Confident in developing, and seeing through new strategies
Benefits include up to 20% commission, company car, holidays starting at 23 days per year, rising to 28 with service and pension.
Please note that although the role is Leeds based, there will be a requirement for national travel 2-3 times per month.
