Regional Business Leader

Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

North East & Yorkshire.

£35k – £45k plus bonus.

Our client provides moving, handling and bathing products for a variety of client needs, with
cost-effective solutions for all needs.

This Regional Business Leader role will be responsible for delivering the commercial performance by managing key market relationships with; Local Authorities, Community Equipment Stores, Distributors, Equipment Store Operators and Project Development companies.

The role will include:

• Develop and drive the annual sales plan to deliver the business objectives; contractual & product supply
• Maintain appropriate market relationships to effect the sales plan
• Directly manage key strategic accounts to ensure their growth, well-being and continued revenue contributions
• Provide regular market intelligence; competitors, market dynamics and customer needs
• Drive the communication of value propositions into the market
• Organise and coordinate multi-functional teams around key market opportunities
• Work with strategic partners & clients to develop compelling value propositions that solve client unmet /unrealised needs, and work with marketing to scale these to the benefit of the broader business.
• Drive adoption of key procurement frameworks with key customer groups
• Lead commercial /operational interlock across all Regional Service Centres to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and margin optimisation.
• Ensure sales excellence and effectiveness, across all sales assets.
• Report performance periodically in line with the commercial operating mechanism

Education & Experience:

• Productive and experienced C suite operator
• At least 5 years experience in a business management role
• Experience of building appropriate and effective networks, both internal and external for the benefit of the Group.
• Leading, coaching and managing employees and direct reports.
• Evidence of continued and evolving success in a results driven environment
• Strong analytical and presentational skills
• Track record of successfully delivering change
• Significant knowledge and experience of the:
o UK Patient Handling sector
o UK Community Equipment Stores
o Local Authority Contracts Market
o Education sector
o Infrastructure projects; greenfield and renovations
• Strong interpersonal, influencing and relationship building skills.
• Pragmatic & flexible approach to work and working hours.
• Current clean driving licence
