About the role

This is a full-time role operating Monday-Friday based at our office in Welwyn Garden City with scope for remote working and flexible hours.

As the Education Recruitment Consultant, you will be tasked with supporting the Founder with recruitment, compliance, and placement management.

This role is as much about managing our members as it is working with partnering schools to secure and facilitate placements. You will be an integral part of this growing business, building a rapport with members and helping shape their careers, whilst growing yours at the same time.

A background in recruitment is not essential; first and foremost, you need to be a “people person”, focussed on building relationships and delivering a great service for our members and partners, with a high attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills.

This position would suit someone based in Hertfordshire seeking a flexible, service-orientated role which supports local schools and educators.

Responsibilities include:

  • Resourcing teachers, teaching assistants and support staff for job roles in current schools
  • Searching job sites for CVs
  • Conducting interviews and compliance checks
  • Liaising with partner schools on their requirements and matching them with appropriate members
  • Keeping the company CRM up to date
  • Contributing content for the website, newsletter, and social media channels

You must be:

  • Experienced working in a small team / a proven selfstarter
  • Customer service orientated
  • Selfmotivated and resilient
  • Have strong verbal and written English language communication skills
  • A confident negotiator and mediator

Training will be provided for all systems and processes although ideally you will:

  • Have experience with data entry and using CRM software
  • Be confident using Zoom, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Microsoft Teams
  • Have experience working with job boards
  • Familiarity with design software such as Adobe or Canva is a bonus
