Recruitment Consultant

Join our established operation in Suffolk, offering specialist end to end logistics recruitment solutions with a focus on LGV driver supply to transport operations in East Anglia.
Your role will be to continually meet and exceed the operational expectations of both clients and candidates, ensuring a high degree of customer service at all times. You will undertake a very ‘hands on’ approach in developing these relationships and will continually seek new ways to add value, creating a sense of culture and pride towards a successful customer facing operation.
Driver recruitment and relationship management/development are key success factors in this role. You will play a pivotal role in the delivery of your branch budget. Although your primary focus will be to provide 1st class customer service, operational support and account management; sales, business development and the ability to network will play an important part in your role.
Experience/skills required:
You MUST have previous operational experience gained within a fast moving transport/logistics or recruitment environment. You’ll have excellent relationship building skills as well as sales/business development capabilities. A high level of self motivation is critical, as is a professional approach to providing a quality service to the market place.
The job requirement is for a person who is driven and tenacious. Tangible, measurable results are to be obtained despite opposition or resistance to their accomplishment. Pressure to meet deadlines in an environment laced with a wide variety of problems and unexpected interruptions. Communication and people skills are also important aspects of the job. The person fulfilling this role should be self-starting, competitive, imaginative, direct, influential, persuasive and self-confident. Independence, mobility, activity and pace are also key factors important to this position.
