Company & Project: Apple Technical Recruitment have partnered with an award winning regional consultancy operating across multiple sectors including Commercial, Residential, Mixed-Use and Education. The successful business, who employ 20+ staff locally, are seeking to recruit an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Cambridgeshire.
Our client has as an exciting project list secured for the next 18 months+ and they are looking for a Surveyor to work on projects to c£5m for their prestigious and repeat clients in the local area.
There is a clear pathway for promotion to Senior QS, with no ceiling for growth in this profitable and progressive company.
Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading projects to c£5m.
You will be responsible for concept to completion cost management, including but not limited to – cost planning, variations, tender analysis, contract administration, cost reporting, change management, employers agent and final accounts.
Desirable Experience:
– 5 years+ post-grad experience working as a Quantity Surveyor with a chartered surveying practice or consultancy.
– Excellent client facing skills and experience working in both pre and post contract surveying.
– MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor advantageous.
– Previous Roles: Quantity Surveyor OR Cost Manager OR Intermediate QS OR QS OR MRICS Surveyor.
Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or comparable qualification.
