Quantity Surveyor – Modular – Yorkshire

Salary: £36,000 – £38,400 per year

Our client is a reputable Modular Build Main Contractor working across multiple sectors. On the back of numerous project wins we have an urgent requirement for an experienced Quantity Surveyor. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and forward thinking contractor that is growing year on year.

Your responsibilities will include:

– Procurement of subcontractors and materials.

– Liaising with client cost manager in order to agree pricing.

– Working with the factory team in order to ensure timely project delivery.

– When based on site overseeing payments.

– Valuations & Variations.

– Final accounts.

– Chairing site meetings.

Experience required:

– 5+ years Quantity Surveying experience with construction main contractors.

– To have worked on new build project work (ideally schools, not essential though)

– Ideally some knowledge of the modular sector.

– Technical qualification in construction (HNC / BSc)
