Quality Manager – Fresh Produce

Salary: £36,000 – £60,000 per year

We are working with one of the largest players in the glasshouse industry. Our client grows and sources fresh produce in the UK and EU, marketing and distributing to most UK major retailers. Their success and business acumen has made them a highly respected supplier and employer within their sector and they now seek an enthusiastic and experienced Quality Manager to join their team.

In this role you will take full responsibility for all quality areas within the business. You will ensure that all raw materials that arrive on site are checked to specification. Ensuring that all produce supplied to customers meets specification, food safety and legal requirements within commercial and operational constraints. You will have full day-to-day management of the quality team (both intake & pack house teams). You will support/coach/train colleagues within the operations team to uphold necessary standards as required.

This role is based on the South Coast, however after an initial period you will have multi-site responsibility that will require you to travel frequently to the North of England.
