THE JOB

* As Quality Assurance Manager you will lead, manage and develop the QA department in order to ensure that products are produced to the highest quality standards and exceed customer and consumer expectations. You will monitor and review Quality Management and H.A.C.C.P systems to ensure compliance with BRC (British Retail Consortium) requirements, and Company/Customer codes of practice.
* You will be responsible for completing analysis and audits to maintain due diligence and support continuous improvement, working closely with operational teams to implement changes where necessary. Working cross functionally, you will also provide continuous management and control of customer factory specifications and recipes.
* You will be at the forefront of customer and supplier relations, requiring you to prepare and organise the department for internal and external visitors, promoting the department, building confidence and successful long term relationships.
