Quality Inspector, £27,000 + Benefits, Paisley

Aspirare Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join my client on a permanent role. As a Quality Inspector you will be joining a market leading organisation specialising in metal treatment. With over 50 years’ experience you will be joining a company that are specialists in metal finishing. Working in a busy workshop dealing with local and international clients. This is a new that has been created role due to company growth

Essential Skills required

Experience in a similar role (Quality orientated)
Previous experience working with hand held measuring equipment (calipers, verniers)
Previous experience working in a workshop environment

Desirable skills

PCN Level II Dye & Fluorescent Penetrants Testing & NDT instruction writing
Awareness of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Experience of Electroplating (Chromium & Nickel)

Main duties of the role include working in a busy workshop, you will be using traditional micro-meters to inspect machined parts and provide accurate documentation in accordance to company quality management system. Working with hand-held mechanical measurement equipment you will be inspecting internal, external and depth dimensions. (pre and post plating)
This is a constant day-shift role (Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm), with overtime paid at an enhanced rate.
