Salary: £54,000 – £57,600 per year
Acquire Recruitment are currently seeking a Quality Manager on behalf of our well established and award winning client based in Gloucester. This opportunity is a full time, permanent position which involves managing, developing, implementing and driving forward quality improvements by monitoring and supporting staff performance indicators in line with the Education inspection framework.
Salary: £45,000 to £48,000pa
Hours: Full time – Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:15pm and Friday 8:00am to 1:15pm
Holidays: Between 28 and 33 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays) dependent on position, with additional days holiday given for long service and for your birthday.
Standard Duties: –
- Act as the main point of contact for Awarding Organisations and Quality Standards and maintain systems, organise, and host visits.
- To deal with action points from External Quality Assurance visits
- Actively contribute to the GTA England Quality Forum, Peer Review Team, and other relevant partnerships.
- Accountable for managing and maintaining the teaching and assessment on the Internal Quality Assurance Award and Assessor Awards/Certificate and provide advice and guidance for Staff completing teaching qualifications.
- Creating relevant in-house training programmes for Staff and monitor Awarding Organisation compliance with Professional Development requirements
- Comply and assist with GTAE requirements, audits, and inspections
- Always promote the business in a positive manner
- Promote the equality, diversity and safeguarding of individuals at all times
- Contribute to the implementation of the company business plan, self-assessment report and quality
- improvement plan and processes
- Always maintain discipline and cleanliness within the centre
- Ensure a high standard of health, safety and welfare to learners, staff and visitors at all times
- Ensure own training and development is up to date and relevant to company requirements
- We reserve the right to request employees to assist with reasonable additional duties as and when required; including attendance at careers fairs and similar business related events
A successful candidate will have: –
- Level 3 or above engineering qualification / relevant engineering apprenticeship or engineering sector experience
- Qualified Assessor
- Qualified IQA – Level 4 certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
- GCSE grade A-C (4-9) Maths and English or equivalent
- Experienced with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Knowledge and experience of the education sector
- Management experience and/or qualification
