JOB- Supplier Quality Engineer
LOCATION- Wiltshire
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £42,000 – £50,400per annum (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer on a permanent basis in the Wiltshire area to provide support to the QSHE and co-ordinate with suppliers to implement best practices to reduce variation with defects and reduce waste.

The Supplier Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• 5 years experience in similar role
• Lean Six Sigma Green belt beneficial
• Auditor trained
• Team player that enjoys a challenge
• Good eye for detail
• Self-motivated individual
• Ability to work calmly under pressure

The Supplier Quality Engineer role will involve:

• Raise routine Purchase Orders, check acknowledgements, and make amendments
• Develop SPC methodology ensuring process capability across suppliers
• Complete supplier audits performance audits to enhance process standardisation
• Monitor supplier performance, define process parameter to ensure process capability
• Monitor output, quality & scrap rates. Improving OTD performance
• Maintain records of products and approved suppliers
• Travel within the UK and outside of the UK
