Quality Assurance Pharmacist – Stockport

Opportunity:

Are you a Pharmacist registered with the GPhC? Have you released prescription medicine and have good quality assurance / checking experience? Want to work for a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company? If yes then please read on.

Your role as a Quality Assurance Pharmacist based in Stockport will involve releasing prescription medicines and quality assurance / physical checking of all drug orders that are released to the patients.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Prescription receipt, clinical screening and intervention where needed.
• Small volume/large volume product order entry.
• Prescription product order assembly / dispensing.
• Stock receipt and stock control of compounded products.
• Prescription management.
• Patient compliance and reporting.
• Liaison with external customers and provide patient advice.
• Delivery scheduling.
• On call requirement/out of hours emergency dispensing.

This is a 12 months contract role working Monday to Friday 9.00 am-5.30 pm with flexibility.

The PAYE hourly rate is £33.61.

Skills:

• Pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Ideally have worked as a Pharmacist before but newly registered Pharmacist will also be considered.
