The Company:

Employs over 500 people across various manufacturing facilities in the UK
Provides customers with innovative, technologically advanced products
Meets and exceeds demanding technical specifications and complex solutions

The Role:

Product inspection
Management of inspection documentation
Process and Product auditing
Equipment calibration
Analysis of raw materials including FTIR, mixed formulations, fibre contents etc
Analysis data generation and evaluation
Additional customer specific analysis as required
Preparation of documentation for batch release
Generation of electronic data, including KPI’s, SPC
Assist in identifying deficiencies within the analysis function
Maintenance of quality records including archives etc.
Control of quarantined and retained materials
Training will be provided for this position for the right candidate.

Hours of work:

12 hour Days and Night shifts on a rotational shift pattern during the month.

The Suitable Candidate:

*Experience of working within an engineering manufacturing company
*Experience of Inspecting, Testing or Quality checking raw materials and finished products
*Conscientious worker with attention to detail and completes tasks
*Able to work to specifications
*Computer literate with all Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Email)
*Experience of DSC or FTIR would be an advantage
*Excellent communication skills
*GCSE or equivalent in Maths, English and Science
