Our client is an Essex based developer specialising in high to mid range residential new builds. Due to expansion the company currently looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and talented Project Quantity Surveyor to take the lead on a number of projects and work alongside a small team on others. The company will offer support and training for candidates with the aim to progress your career. Experience in residential new builds would be advantageous. The role will initially be for 3 months but could turn into a long term placement.
ROLE:
- Assist in the costing and pricing of developments
- Producing bills of quantity from drawings
- Assist in the compilation of monthly forecasts and cost value reconciliations
- Manage the procurement of all subcontractors
- Manage the financial aspects of sub-contract packages
- Prepare and execute of sub-contract orders
- Measure, price and check dayworks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and take-off software
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience with a consultancy, contractor or developer.
