Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year
Having built a reputation as a market leader, this company delivers engineering excellence working in close partnership with their clients and suppliers offering a range of services from Design & Build major Civil Engineering projects to maintenance schemes. Operating across the UK and through a variety of sectors, this company are able to offer their expertise in Road, Rail, Bridge, Marine, Water and Regeneration schemes to name a few.
Having won a large framework, the company is looking to strengthen their commercial team with an additional Quantity Surveyor.
As an experienced surveyor you will take responsibility for the;
– procurement of packages
– measures
– variations
– monitoring of subcontract activities
– preparation of internal and external reports
– agreeing final accounts
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Quantity Surveying with a recognised Civil Engineering contractor ideally within the Water sector. You should have working knowledge of NEC and ICE forms of contract and understand and demonstrate the principles of good budget and cost management.
