Project Manager

We are currently supporting a well-established, innovative company who are seeking an experienced Project Manager, based in Wetherby, UK. As a Project Manager you will manage all aspects of the company’s projects in relation to pool design and installation. You will be responsible for the full end-to end project lifecycle, taking into consideration customer requirements and commercial business sense.

Key responsibilities and duties of this role…

• Running a portfolio of projects from handover to completion
• Attending meetings with clients and main contractors, building positive long-lasting relationships
• Liaise with Sales/Design/Logistics departments to ensure the projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standard.
• Creating and managing programmes
• Organise sub-contractor labour and in-house labour
• Health & Safety duties – ensure all personnel, recruitment and induction procedures are completed on and off site to ensure compliance with relevant legal and H&S legislation including the company’s H&S Policy.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and qualifications…

• Project Management Experience is essential
• A good attitude is essential, with excellent people skills
• Previous swimming pool/construction project management experience OR M & E Project Manager with more experience leaning towards the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
• Experience working in the domestic environment as a preference to commercial would be nice to have
• Excellent client-facing, verbal and written communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• JCT / NEC Contracting work
• CSCS/SMSTS Desirable
• Experience of project management software

Hours: Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4.30am (with a degree of flexibility). This is a National role, which requires at least 2 days per week in the office in Wetherby OR HYBRID options considered
