Project Manager

Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year

Our Norfolk based client is a globally reknowned designer and manufacturer of electrical process heating and control systems. We are recruiting on their behalf, for an experienced Project Manager, based near Thetford, Norfolk. 

Responsibilities:

• Managing assigned manufacturing contracts of engineered products

• Checking control systems interface with associated panel

• Adhering to output targets as agreed in Production meetings

• Writing RFQ’s for engineering services and bought out items

• Seeking new suppliers to fulfil project scope

• Producing/modifying/checking engineering document deliverables

• Liasing with client, sub-vendors, engineers, buyers and shop floor to resolve issues

• Attending on/off site client meetings

• Project managing the whole life cycle of projects from order to final delivery

• Change, Risk and Documentation management

• Reporting on regular basis to internal and external stakeholders

• Costs control and management

• Inspection and certification management 

You will have:

• Minimum 5 years Project Management experience in multi-discipline engineering/manufacturing in Oil & Gas or similar 

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 

• An understanding of ATEX, PD5500, ASME, PED standards and pressure vessel design

• Familiarity of STAAD, Ceaser II, Creo 3 (ProE), AutoCAD and Microsoft AX

This is a full time permanent role, with extensive travel, a competitive negotiable salary, pension, private medical cover, 25 days holiday plus the bank holidays.
