Project Manager – Banking Professional Services

A payments processing and ATM management company has an exciting interim vacancy for a Project Manager within Retail Banking.

*Experience of managing teams including customer, contractor and external company staff
*Experience of managing a P&L – and delivering profitable projects
*Proven project management experience of IT solution design and development projects gained in a retail environment
*Experience of Software Integration and/or Business/IT integration
*Ability to implement and enforce strong project management disciplines
*Ability to manage, motivate and develop teams many of whom may be based remotely or who may not be directly employed
*Ability to represent project management effectively in customer (sales) situations

The Role Responsibilities

*Take responsibility for leading the delivery of a project (or smaller multiple projects) for the client’s Banking Professional Services customers and including application development and management, integration and migration and involve responsibility for revenue and profit for the client and responsibility for the delivery of business change and benefit to the customer.
*Define each element of the project plan. To schedule and manage all project activities, including the overall and detailed delivery schedules, project milestones and dependencies, acceptance criteria, quality criteria, commercial arrangements and financial parameters and management of sub-contractors / partners
*Manage project performance against the agreed plan and initiate ‘remedial’ action (or escalation), when required
*Ensure appropriate and timely project reporting and escalation (within the client and to the customer)
*Be responsible for the project budget and ensure delivery against financial targets set.
*Manage all human resources assigned to the project to ensure high levels of performance
