Project Account Manager

Salary £48,000 – £54,000PA

Skillection are working with their fantastic manufacturing client in Derbyshire assisting them in finding a fabulous Account Manager for their business.

Working as part of the technical project team, required to establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring good communication between clients and the company internal support services.

* Key Account Management: Responsible for organizing and planning face to face meetings with customers, with full account responsibility including but not limited to; meeting / exceeding sales and margin targets.

* Travel to customers, suppliers and other sites within the Group.

* Supporting the Group Sales Team

* Plan own diary and work load to achieve targets

* Issue budgets for key accounts

* Set targets for growth and improvement

* Attending Seminars and trade shows (the job can involve staying away both in the UK and overseas).

* Liaise with customers technically and commercially

* Liaise with suppliers technically and commercially

* Liaise with specialist skills outside of the business technically and financially  Project Management from initial design to production intent.

* Coordinating project work with key accounts; assisting in implementation and management of projects and NPI.

* Develop account plans to ensure greater sustainable business growth.

* Required to provide a weekly report to the Directors.

REQUIREMENTS

* Experience of project management as well as additional understanding of technical service and application development.

* CAD experience would be of great benefit (SolidWorks)

* Reading of engineering drawings

* Knowledge of plastics, roto moulding or other plastic manufacturing experience.

* Tool and fixture understanding of and design input.

* Automotive standard experience. (APQP etc.)

* Excellent communication and social skills.

* A strong negotiator able to identify customers’ needs and be persuasive when presenting ideas

* A team player able to work independently.

* Creative with entrepreneurial tendencies.

* Relation builder with good social and networking skills

* Driving licence
