Role: 6 month fixed term contract
Position: Project Manager
Salary: £54 – £66per hour
Location: Commutable from Newbury, Reading, Oxford, Bristol, Swindon and Andover

A highly successful and global manufacturer offering a world class, innovative and fast paced environment are looking for a confident and experienced Project Manager to work across a 6 fixed term contract.

Position Responsibilities

To assist in the project management of the dismantling, rebuilding, commissioning and some site construction work of machinery.

Detail;

To control and organise all aspects of capital projects when designated, from initial concept scope and costs through to installation, commissioning and handover to production and maintenance.
To select suitable contractors, and ensure that they perform to company safety and quality standards
To estimate the total project cost set up and manage the project budget accordingly
To establish the project schedule and manage the project to meet the schedule
To report regularly to the Project steering committee on identified risks and issues.
To undertake the management of structural building work necessary for the preparation or reclamation of designated project sites.
To maintain a close relationship with the Health, Safety and Environmental Protection Manager to ensure that all new machinery and systems meet the required safety standards.

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
Project Management experience of machinery such as commissioning, installations, relocations etc.
Knowledge of CDM regulations
Pharmaceutical experience, or any other highly regulated environment within manufacturing
Observe safety behaviour in the working environment.
Computer literate (ACAD (viewing), word, Microsoft project, excel etc.
Ability to understand engineering drawings especially P & IDs and GA’s etc.
Experience of fault finding and problem solving.
