Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, to manage the replacement of a new Library Management System for Devon Libraries and Torquay Library Service. The ideal candidate will be available without delay.

The successful candidate will have the following experience / skills:

Essential
* Experienced project manager (Prince 2 or equivalent).
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Consultative style with excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Able to work independently.
* Ability to quickly learn and champion business needs i.e. hold the vision for the Library Management System and digital library services to ensure business is supported by ICT and not driven by it.

Desirable
* Understanding of Libraries and their future digital vision and future trends.
* Experience of software procurement, writing specifications, evaluation etc.
* Experience of implementing new software including knowledge of stages involved, pitfalls etc.
* Understanding of library work flows i.e. public and back-office processes.
* Experience of using a library management system.

Salary / Hourly Rate: £18.18per hour
