Project Manager

My client specialises in supplying decorative plasterwork for prestigious projects to the construction industry. Their clients are predominantly in the ultra-high end residential, commercial & retail markets. Their client list is impressive and includes high profile names such as Café Royal, luxury retail stores such as Chanel and the Burberry Flagship store and exclusive residences including commissions for the Royal family at Kensington Palace.
They currently require a Project Manager to join their expanding team. You will report directly to the Managing Director and will work closely with the production team.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Project managing a number of jobs (value £100-150K) from estimation stages through to scheduling and final call off
• Liaison with the factory manager, estimator and production team to ensure each job is delivered to the highest standard of quality
• Managing the financial aspects of each project in conjunction with the estimator
• Negotiation of final accounts
You will have:
• A degree in civil engineering or related construction degree
• Up to 5 years project management experience
• Commercial acumen
• A driven and focused approach to your work
• Excellent communication skills

Although previous experience within a construction/manufacturing environment is needed, more important is the desire to grow within the business and buy in to their long term vision.
