Project Manager
Our client is one of the UK’s leading designers and manufacturers of modular buildings. A forward-thinking business offering a wide variety of modular solutions across multiple sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, leisure, rail and defence. My client has developed an outstanding reputation based on the high-quality product that they produce.
Due to their continued growth they are now recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee the construction of projects up to £3 million.
You will work closely with the Contract Manager and take an active role in the pre-construction and planning phase of contracts and manage the construction phase from concept to completion.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the successful delivery of multiple construction projects, ensuring that they are completed safely, on time and within cost whilst maximising client satisfaction
* Manage project delivery from outline design stage to client handover in line with targets
* Meet and develop client relationships.
* Have a full understanding of and manage the overall operational and commercial aspects of the project to achieve the budget.
* You will be required to manage sites, including working with contractors, sub-contractors, clients and materials.
* Proven track record of managing multiple projects safely, competently and effectively is essential.
The ideal candidate:
* Will have experience working on a wide range of large-scale design and build projects
* You will hold a CSCS (Black Card, ideally), SMSTS, First Aid.
* Will have excellent construction knowledge and prior experience project managing
* Be competent working on a computer, proficient in Microsoft Office
* Will have good knowledge of health and safety legislations
* Enthusiastic and self-motivated
* Will implement and adhere to company policies and procedures on site
Offering an attractive package of £36,000 – £42,000 dependant on experience, 10% annual bonus paid quarterly, company car, laptop, phone and pension.
