PROJECT MANAGEMENT – HEAD OF HOTELS – LONDON – £120,000 – £144,000+ PACKAGE
Capstone are currently partnering with a recognised building consultancy based in London. With a strong Independent entrepreneurial culture and structured progression pathways to senior management, this consultancy has sustained a continued growth strategy focussing across a number of sectors including hotels & leisure, residential, commercial, retail and culture & heritage sectors. As the UK development market outside of the commercial and residential sectors continues to gain momentum, this consultancy has now secured a number of hotel development commissions. They seek an ambitious sector champion to join their dynamic Project Management team to deliver retail new build and refurbishment projects in excess of £100m for leading British and International Developers.
The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of large scale hotel new build and refurbishment projects from inception through to completion – this is a bigger picture role than that of CAT A and B hotel refurbishment. You will be given the responsibility of running your own project team as well as building and adding to the company’s profile.
You will need to be degree educated Project Manager holding a professional qualification (MRICS, MAPM), with a minimum 12-15 years of Project Management experience in a consultancy capacity on building projects. You will have a thorough understanding of and have worked across the full project life cycle in the built environment using either JCT or NEC contract forms, preferably on new build or refurbishment projects. Whilst having an ability to adhere to process is desirable, you must also be adaptable enough to deliver projects in an ever changing and fluid environment. Assertiveness and strong communication skills are a must as you will be interfacing with both the client and multiple stakeholders at a number of levels.
