Salary: £45.6 per hour

Project Manager – Equipment Management/Platform Equipment Installation

A Project Manager with Equipment Management or Platform Equipment Installation experience is required to work on a twelve month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Portsmouth.

This is a 12 month contract with a leading UK defence

Overview of the Project Manager Contract role

Responsible for the delivery of projects within the equipment management area of the business working on our Middle East contracts.

* Take responsibility for the delivery of the projects and/or programme

* Monitor and report on project/programme performance for schedule, technical, financial and quality objectives & milestones

* Experienced in project management governance and assurance such as Integrated Business Reviews and experienced in the influencing and managing of key stakeholders both internally and external (customer) and sub-contract

* Knowledge and experience of a tailored LCM approach

Key skills required for the Project Manager

* Able to work in an Agile environment and culturally aware

* Experience in the Defence/Maritime/Oil & Gas sectors would be advantageous

* Experience working on platform equipment installation, Additions & Alterations and upgrades

* Experience of working in the Middle East would be advantageous

* Experience of Bid work would be an advantage

* Experienced in the use of SAP & MS Project Server considered essential

The role is based in Portsmouth, Hampshire – commutable from Southampton, Cowes, Isle of Wight, Salisbury, Winchester, Andover, Basingstoke, Guildford, Aldershot, Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, Worthing, Chichester
