Project Engineer (Onshore)

Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

We are currently recruiting for an onshore Project Engineer for a oil & gas services client in the Aberdeen area. This is a full time onshore role which will lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

The main purpose of this role will be to support the Operations Coordinator and execute onshore and offshore projects from initial enquiry to completion. Also to maintain existing client relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities

To assist the Operations Coordinator to

Maximise sales revenue

Manage customer relations

Comply with offshore QEHS procedures

Deliver quotes, proposals, procedures, diagrams, reports to strict deadlines

Coordinate establish and maintain contacts with customers

Discuss job process and parameters with customers

Define Technical solutions

Issue budgetary proposals to strict deadlines.

Create work documents packs to standard specifications and to strict deadlines

Liaise with Base Operations personnel to ensure correct equipment is available and correctly allocated to project

Prepare process flow diagrams using AutoCAD or Microsoft Visio Software

Amend Piping and instrumentation diagrams on request

Manage project cycle until completion

Issue post- job reports to clients, discuss outcomes, lessons learned, future modifications to improve service

Produce adhoc reports, spread sheets and other documents as required

Assist with workshop operations as and when required

Proactive future planning for operations team

Other Requirements

Onshore working

Additional hours to meet deadlines when required.

Occasional national and internation travel maybe required

Qualifications/Experience

The candidate will have relevant project engineering knowledge and a clear understanding of how to get work executed in a service company environment

Core week 36.5 hours

8am to 430pm with a 330pm finish on a Friday.
