Project Engineer

Salary: £40.8 – £42 per hour

We are currently looking for a contract Project Engineer based at Atherstone, Warwickshire

Contract Duration: 12 months rolling (dependent on capital project approvals)

Supporting the team of engineers in the execution of capital projects.

Typical activities:

Contractor/Vendor supervision – assume on site DR (EHS Designated representative)

*

Hands-on support of manufacturing process equipment and facility – Installation, commissioning and testing (Site and Factory Acceptance).

*

Vendor selection and qualification – request for information/quotation, ensuring costs are managed within budget.

*

Lead small projects from concept through to completion, delivery on time and with budget.

*

Communicate with all relevant stakeholders

*

Produce project plans and project budgets when relevant

Qualifications/Experience

*

Hands-on electrical process equipment experience to assist with on-site project construction, installation, commissioning and testing

*

Experience in delivering projects that require process control system changes.

*

Recognised safety qualification and awareness of legislative requirements including PUWER.

*

Can Prioritise, Plan and Organise activities
