Project Engineer

Salary: £54,000 – £72,000 per year

The Project Engineer will:

• Participate in the design of plant and equipment (new build or existing plan modifications) and coordinate the implementation/erection (including management of contractors);
• Actively anticipate in/identify production related problems and plan remedial actions;
• Update and monitor efficient systems procedures, methods and specifications to aid the smooth running of the department and the plant.

You will have:
• Technical knowledge of engineering principles, tools and techniques (civil, pumps, piping and valves, electrical components, controls and construction methods);
• Experience working on site including erection and installation of equipment.
• 2+ years experience in related position;
• Degree in Chemical/Manufacture/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
• Proficient working with CAD 2D and 3D (a plus).

To be considered you will have experience within manufacturing as a Project Engineer, ideally with a Degree or equivalent qualification in Chemical/Manufacture/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
