Spinwell is recruiting for a Programme Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB TITLE
Plan and track progress of the programme to ensure an up to date picture is maintained, ensuring actions are progressed. Identify likely problems that may hinder delivery and suggest solutions. Ensure the programme risk register is updated on a regular basis and the information captured is up to date and can be reported on efficiently. Design and create reports for Programme and Steering Boards such as programme dashboards, minutes and presentation slides. Manage the product and risk management processes and ensure there is robust adherence to project management processes including planning, risk management, dependency management and change control.
Project manager with Oracle fusion e-procurement and marketplace experience to help shape and lead a project to
- Assess what procurements/contracts are required for each commodity and the associated business cases.
- A plan for tail end spend.
- A plan for use of the marketplace v catalog requisitions
- A plan for non catalog requisitions
- Training and implementation of all BPA’s required arising from point 1.
- A review of the current workflows to ensure they align with commercial governance (when to get 3 quotes etc)
- A review of the current organisations fitness for purpose. Ie where should e-procurement best fit.
- Review of Atamis v Oracle contract tools
- Warehousing & inventory management using oracle.
- Use of smart forms to include other areas of spend (contingent labour, construction)
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OF JOB TITLE
You’ll have:
- Strong Programme Management experience
- Oracle fusion e-procurement and marketplace experience
- Strong understanding of eProcurement
- The ability to work across organisational boundaries to identify, clarify and resolve problems.
- Significant experience in the management and delivery of complex programmes
- Strong lead delivery experience
- with strategic planning providing clear direction and setting strategic priorities for delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate often complex information to all levels including directors and senior management.
- Experience of planning and executing programme of work to deliver required scope within time, cost, and quality
