The Client & Role | Who Are They?

1492 Ltd are retained to recruit a Procurement Manager for an SME manufacturing business who are seeking a well-rounded buying/ purchasing professional to develop their procurement practices. This is a business that has seen 10% year on year growth over the last 2 years despite everything going on in the market just now.

This role, reporting to the MD, will be responsible for both direct and indirect spend and will have a great opportunity to drive value-based purchasing across the business, whilst improving the mechanisms that sit behind the function.

The Candidate | What Are We Looking For?

If you have experience of buying materials, tooling, PPE, consumables, fleet services and energy and would like a huge degree of autonomy over the development of the purchasing function, we would love to hear from you.
