Production Test Equipment Engineer

Salary: £54,000 per year

Test Equipment Engineer needed to join a cohesive and productive team.

My client is a leading manufacturer of Highly complex electronics systems. Their products are supplied around the globe and can incorporate a range of technologies.

As such their test team must make rational decisions on a range of test equipment. Whether to Automate or not. Hardware or Software biased solution. All with the overview of repeatability and future proofing! A broad based Engineer needed and someone who can look at a problem without preconceived ideas. Hammers need not apply as not everything is a nail!

You will have an interest in multi-discipline projects and have a can-do and get-involved attitude.

You will be qualified to HND/Degree level in a Science, Electronics, software or Engineering discipline.

You will be Theoretical, Logical and Practical. Certain hands on skills, like fault finding can be taught if you have the approach and core knowledge.

Some software understanding; C or Python could be useful.

A good salary and package is on offer for this role with a starting salary c£54,000 + bonus + benefits + pension.
