Salary: £26,000 – £31,590 per year
We are currently recruiting for a Production Engineer, the main purpose of the role will be to provide technical support to the production department to assist in the production of the site synthetic rubber products at optimum quality and efficiency, maximum safety and minimum environmental impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide technical input to support the production department in the manufacture of products at optimum quality and efficiency, maximum safety and minimum environmental impact
* Provide specialist support for the analysis of critical issues relating to the operating lines within the production processes with the aim of optimising the process parameters and plants performance
* Provide support to carry out feasibility studies, Basic Design or FEED by developing technical solutions, ensuring adequate consideration has been given to process engineering and safety aspects
* Develop Design studies for modifications and Capital Expenditure projects
* Ensure there has been adequate consideration given to process engineering and safety aspects in all work performed
SKILLS:
* Familiarity with Control Systems (DCS)
* Logical thinking, with an attention to detail and good problem solving
* Excellent communication skills across all levels
* Flexibility and resilience
* Focus on company objectives

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Relevant experience in a similar position preferably within a top tier COMAH site
* Degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering
