The company

My client are a highly regarded Limited business who are one of the main providers for fresh vegetables across the country.

Due to growth they are looking for a Production Team Leader at their site North of Edinburgh.

The role

You will lead, motivate and engage with your team, demonstrating the correct behaviours to deliver a positive working environment and culture, prioritising and execute production plans to deliver on targets and quality. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and heads of departments. Effectively manage costs including fixed and variable costs to maximise the efficiency of the department. Lead your team to ensure Health and Safety rules and procedures are followed, carry out all risk assessments associated with your area whilst ensuring company Hygiene and Food Safety rules are fully adhered to and continually monitor the work area to ensure a ‘tidy as you go approach’ to housekeeping.

The person

You will have previous experience with managing a team, excellent communication skills and FMCG/food background would be advantageous.
