Production Team Leader

Salary: £34,800 – £38,400 per year

£34,800 – £38,400 depending on experience, Monday – Friday AM and PM rotating shifts (44hr week), Permanent, Free Car Parking, 33 days holiday including bank holidays, private healthcare, sick pay, modern manufacturing and welfare facility including modern canteen, changing rooms and showers.

We are recruiting for multiple Team Leaders and Supervisors for our ever expanding well established manufacturing facility in Sheffield. Working as a Team Leader or Supervisor your job details will include;
* Leading teams of upto 7 people ensuring high levels team performance whilst reacting to changing production demands.
* Managing product flow through each section by ensuring that WIP is kept to a minimum.
* Organising parts in time for production changeovers and ensuring that unused products are returned to their correct location.
* Ensure health and safety best practice is always followed and providing improvement ideas to improve Health and Safety within your team.
* Implementing and managing KPI’s along with identifying training requirements within your team.
* You will plan and problem solve issues such as absences, customer orders and stock demands.
* Provide regular and accurate plan progress updates to Management
* Assure product quality through periodic checks and inspections.
* Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment as specified by procedure.

We are looking for Team Leader or Supervisor’s with proven experience in a similar Team Leader role ideally within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment. You must be able to demonstrate previous man management experience within a process driven / production environment. You will be an excellent decision maker, team motivator and problem solver. In addition to this we are looking for someone with experience of implementing and monitoring KPI’s within their team.

Hours of work for Team Leader Supervisor role are 6am – 3pm and 1pm – 10pm
