Production Supervisor

With a long pedigree and rich heritage, this company is involved with providing high quality services to the woollen industry; some of the Word’s top clothing companies use cloths which were processed by them.

They are looking to employ a Production Supervisor that is flexible enough to work either a 6-2, 2-10 rotating shift or a permanent 2-10 shift.
Looking after a team of 12 operatives engaged in both production and dispatch you will take responsibility for all activities on your shift and ensure that output is achieved both efficiently and safely.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience leading a small and tightly knit team within a continuous process environment, possibly chemicals and be able to lead from the front, they will be found on the factory floor more often than in the office.
Minimum qualifications would be IOSH “Managing Safely” and candidates who have recognised supervisory training such are particularly welcome, further training is available and those with the minimum stating qualifications plus appropriate experience are looking to enhance their skills are encouraged to apply.
The work environment can be quite dirty and candidates should bear this in mind before applying.
