Night Production Manager
East London (E3)
Up to £54,000 per annum
Our client, an International leading convenience food business, is looking to recruit a permanent Production Manager to run one of their night shifts.
The Job
Working in an extremely fast paced and time critical environment, your role is to ensure the efficient and effective running of the production area.
Key responsibilities will include:
Responsible for Team Leaders.
Recruitment, training, disciplines, investigations and coaching.
Ensure there are enough agency personnel to cover the plan, and ensure training takes place.
Ensure the daily plan is delivered in full and on time.
Adhere to strict hygiene and quality regulations.
Ensure that sufficient raw materials are available to meet production demands and limit the amount of stock held.
The working hours are 4 on 4 off 20:00 – 06:00.
The Candidate
We are looking for candidates with the following skills, experience and attributes:
Experience in a similar position, preferably within a FMCG supplier or retailer.
The ability to work effectively within a fast paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
Experience of managing a large team size with supervisors.
Proven track record and confidence in mentoring their team, and able to deal with performance issues.
Basic Food Hygiene qualification and working towards or holding Intermediate Food Hygiene.
Strong interpersonal skills
The Package
Up to £54,000 per annum
25 days holiday a year + bank holidays
Contributory pension scheme (after 3 months service)
