The Candidate

Our client is looking to recruit a Production Supervisor to its expanding ranks. You will have the following skills, experiences and attributes…

• Previous supervisory experience within manufacturing, production, assembly or engineering is vital.
• Ideally you will have experience in PCB assembly and experience in a fast paced environment.
• Any experience with Autotronik machinery would be ideal.
• Ability to Develop / Motivate Teams.
• Excellent Communication skills
• Attention to detail is vital.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Flexible to suit business’ needs.

The Role

You will be responsible for the supervision of 4-5 operatives and 2 production machines. Day to day duties will include…

• Ensure that Pick and Place is delivering to the expected standard in terms of:-

• Daily Production Throughput.
• Staff Performance & Efficiency.
• Production Quality.
• Delivering KPI Targets.

• Operate machines and maintain product flow within the scheduled timeline ensuring minimal downtime.
• Ensure that correct and proper components are being run on the machines, verifying that product components match job specifications.
• Monitor machines to ensure that it is operating correctly, making any necessary and relevant adjustments.
• Pull material and manage stock controls.
• Perform quality checks on product being processed on the machines.
• Troubleshoot machine problems and make mechanical adjustments to produce quality product.
• Ensure Production deadlines are met and deliver plans and initiatives as agreed.
• Strengthen the area in terms of training, performance, motivation, engagement and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a Healthy and Safe working environment ensuring that agreed company policy and procedure is adhered to and promoted in all activities.
