The Role

As Production Supervisor you will be required to support the Production Shift Manager in the operation & performance of the team whilst on shift. Ensuring that all goods are manufactured to the required quality standards, correctly packaged and labelled & identified with correct quantities all handled and stored correctly to main quality & integrity.

These roles are working on a continental shift basis, 4 on – 4 off, rotating days & nights, 7am to 7pm, 12 hours per shift.

How You Can Help Us

  • Health and Safety – ensuring that the team work to the company Health & Safety policy.
  • Maintaining 5S and ensuring that housekeeping is of the highest standard at all times.
  • Ensuring that all team members participate in housekeeping activity at the end of shift ready for the following shift.
  • Ensuring that internal and external timed deliveries meet specified customer requirements.
  • Operating in line with the Standard Working Practices and procedures to maintain accurate inventory control.
  • Responsible for analysing customer returns, proposing corrective actions and ensuring containment action.
  • Assessing any quality/production problems & solving these where possible.
  • Taking ownership for and assisting in the generation of SOPโ€™s as required.
  • Ensuring Team members are trained on new and existing products and that there is a cross functional team.
  • Ensuring all workstations are set up correctly and correct SOP documentation is displayed.
  • Ensuring all documentation is completed & stored correctly in line with company policy.
  • Ensuring that stock checks are carried out on a regular basis with investigations where necessary.
  • Ensuring the transfer of all finished goods in a timely manner to the correct storage location ready for shipping.
  • Responsible for recording & analysing daily performance.
  • Conducting regular audits within the sub-cell.

What We Would Like You to Bring to Our Team

  • Experienced in all areas of production.
  • Able to read & understand basic technical drawings to check items are manufactured correctly.
  • Able to measure components using ancillary gauges/equipment and interpret results and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Good understanding of the production standards and ensuring these are achieved.
  • Understanding customer requirements and product specifications.
  • Understanding & compliance with company policies & procedures.
  • Good verbal & written communication skills.
  • Keen to develop & undertake further training as required.
