Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year
Our client is a unique and specialist international manufacturer of mechanical equipment.
The business has been successfully operating for over 50 years, manufacturing and assembling globally renowned, high quality products from their facility in the North Norfolk area.
The company goes from ‘strength to strength’ with considerable ‘year on year’ growth, now with an annual turnover in the region of £16m.
A Production Supervisor is required to oversee the cost effective production of the companies products in line with exceptional quality standards.
Reporting to the General Manager you will achieve your goals through the support, coordination, leadership and effective management of the manufacturing/production team of around 20 loyal and dedicated staff.
Responsibilities:
- Recommendations for cost savings and support the general manager to accomplish improvement goals
- Support & assist Lean initiatives
- Implement training
- Follow and assist daily production plan
- Manage department spending within agreed budget
- Compliance and safety procedures
We are ideally looking for a Production Manager with broad production experience (mechanical engineering, assembly, technical etc) who can demonstrate effective operational management with strong knowledge and practical experience of Lean manufacturing, leadership and sound decision making skills.
37 hour week, Monday to Friday
Salary to suit experience, Private medical, contributory pension, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays.
