The company
Our client, one of the UK’s leading food manufacturers based in East Riding supplies premium quality products to United Kingdom retailers, food service and industrial markets.
Due to continued growth they now seek to recruit an upbeat Production Manager at their site based in Greater Manchester.
The role
Reporting into the Operations Controller, you will be fully responsible for the day to day running of your shift. You will lead and drive performance, identify and implement key improvements and ensure consistency of approach across the production shift whilst coaching and mentoring your team. You will be responsible to ensure compliance to company policies and procedures and ensure effective communication to all direct reports on awareness of KPI’s; accidents, hazard and near misses.
The person
Our ideal candidate will be upbeat and energetic with keen ambition.
You will have experience working in the FMCG sector- food would be advantageous, be a strong manager, be able to keep calm under pressure and to be able to think on your feet, have a proven track record of managing large teams and have the ability to interact with high profile customers.
