Production Manager role – Packaging / Print Experience Required – competitive salary
Production Manager with experience within the Packaging or Print Industry required for a manufacturer based in West Yorkshire
The role:
The Responsibilities of the Production Manager will be:
* Reporting to the Operations Director, the Production Manager will ensure the production departments are kept clean and efficiently run
* Lead continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and output performance.
* Responsibility for the planning and scheduling of production from raw material to finished goods
* Achieving agreed and targeted production output and financial targets
* The Production Manager will be responsible for close management of stock orders and liaising with sales to produce minimum stock quantities to avoid external storage costs.
* Efficient management & deployment of the plant and workforce.
Requirements:
The Production Manager will ideally have:
* The Production Manager must have previous experience either within the Packaging or Print Industry
* Previous experience with Quality Management Systems
* Previous Lean manufacturing & Six Sigma experience is beneficial
* 5+ years in Production Management
