COMPANY OUTLINE
An experienced Production Engineer is required for a Specialist Solutions Provider based in Gateshead. As established world leaders, this company work closely with a global network of suppliers, ensuring maximum service every time.
THE ROLE
As the Production Engineer, you will plan, direct and coordinate a number of manufacturing processes within the factory ensuring any manufacturing issues and concerns are responded to. You will check products are produced to specifications in accordance with the manufacturing schedules while ensuring efficient use of resources. Developing, evaluating and improving manufacturing methods will be a key aspect of the role and you will determine the processes, designs, and builds associated with this. Creating standard operating procedures (SOP) you will also be expected to roll out any training required making sure this is also recorded.
THE EXPERIENCE
Holding an electronic bias, you will have a strong ability to multitask, remain organised and prioritise your tasks within a fast paced environment. With experience of working in a similar environment, you will also be effective with both working as part of a team and as an individual to collectively meet the demands of the business. Strong communication skills are key, and you will be a hard worker with an excellent work ethic. THE SALARY
In return, you will receive a salary between £33,600 – £39,600depending on your experience.
THE CONTRACT
This is a permanent position in which you will work day shift hours, Monday to Friday.
