Sr. Production Engineer – Maintenance

Salary: £55,200 – £57,600 per year

I have an immediate permanent requirement for an experience maintenance based Senior Production Support Engineer

Large company in the Wokingham/Reading area that design and manufacture injection mould plastics for the medical and consumables market.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a plastics product / high volume automated production environment and have a solid depth of production support and supervision around preventative maintenance and the team.

Essential Experience/Qualifications 

• Qualification or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent
• Experience in maintaining automated assembly equipment
• Experience working in preventative maintenance environment
• Experience with PLC Program problem solving
• Experience supervising and motivating a team of Support Engineers
• Good understanding of and experience Lean Principles 

 Desirable Experience/Qualifications

• Previously had experience of Injection moulding processes
• Knowledge and understanding of quick changeover best practices
• Experience of clean room manufacturing
• Knowledge of Quality management systems
• Demonstrate a good level of problem solving ability on production equipment
• Understanding of FST, CoDeSys programming languages
