Production Administrator

Salary: £13.82 per hour

PRODUCTION ADMINISTRATOR
LEEK AREA
PERMANENT – SEE BELOW FULL TIME SHIFTS
£23-£25K DOE
2 ROLES AVAILABLE – 1 X 6AM -2PM MON-FRI AND 1 X 10AM – 6PM SUN-THURS

THE ROLE

* Engage with the teams in the production plant (incl Manufacturing Services and Technical) to grow the understanding around Manufacturing Orders

* Closing all Manufacturing orders in a timely and accurate manner

* Investigating manufacturing orders where there is a variance out of tolerance

* Use of MRP system to become a superuser (full training will be provided)

* Liaising with manufacturing teams to understand any issues related to Manufacturing Execution Systems

* Process product change requests and new product set up forms

* Compiling both weekly and ad hoc reports

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Previous experience of working in a manufacturing based administration role

* A knowledge of production processes

* A good standard of IT literacy, particularly in MS Excel to include basic formulas

* Experience of using MRP or ERP systems considered advantageous but not essential

* Excellent communication skills and able to work under pressure
